The US unemployment rate fell to 3.7%, a 48-year low in September. According to the monthly jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the last time unemployment was this low was December 1969. In the last two years, BurgerBusters has added over 50 stores to its system through development and acquisitions so those are over 50 more assets that we are required to constantly maintain and improve in support of our Operations team. 2017 was another eventful and productive year for our company and the Facilities / Loss Control department was no exception. On the Taco Bell facilities side, we had 28 stores receive cold line upgrades, 10 stores have new parking lots paved, and 17 total Pepsi / ice machine equipment upgrades as well as countless other equipment and capital upgrades completed. POINT-OF-SALES – SECURE PAY CREDIT CARD MACHINES

Now that all our locations have received the Secure Pay credit card machines we are much more secure against outside sources gaining access to our customers credit information.  We also can continue to accept credit cards even if the master register one is down for any reason.  In addition, our personnel (at least at the counter) no longer have any contact with the customer’s credit card.
