Hello again from the POS world! First, I would like to thank all the store personnel for everything you do for BurgerBusters. If it were not for you none of us would have a job. Secondly, I would like to thank Thaddeus and Amber for their continued support and due diligence in all aspects of our job in the POS Department. If it were not for them, we would not be as successful in this Department as we are. Amber will be moving back to Virginia so you will be seeing a lot more of her in the coming months. Wow, what an ending to the year. We continue to go through changes between development, sales, and the supply chain not to mention we all continue to roll with the punches from COVID.

Getting new equipment and getting equipment repaired is becoming more and more difficult. Please do not wait to call us when you are having problems with any of your POS equipment. As of now if we do not have something in stock already it is taking a minimum of thirty days to get in. For example, HME System 40 Timers are obsolete and they are having to switch over to a new System 60 Timer because they are beginning to have problems sourcing parts for the current System 50 model. The Order Confirmation Boards that have a server in the office have mostly gone obsolete, so we are replacing those as they go down as well.

The big Next Gen Kitchen project that was supposed to start last year has been pushed to later this year by YUM. They have extended the support for our PAR 6000 and IBM registers, which are in most of our stores. They were supposed to go obsolete this past year, but now go into October of 2022. This project appears to be very fluid, and I will make sure everyone stays as up to date as we can on this.

We are still having problems with getting credit card machines sent out for repair and the replacements installed. Please make sure you are calling your POS Technician as soon as you are having a problem with your credit card machines. We will uninstall the bad device to send out for repair and install the new one when it comes back in. We also want to make sure the drive thru credit card machine is hanging on the wall when it is not in use as this has cut back on damages from when it is accidently dropped or when a drink is spilled on it.

We, the POS Department, are in your area nearly every day so please continue to help us help you. You are dealing with issues all the time and we want to make sure POS is not one of them. Thank you and I pray we all have a good New Year.
