Business abuse is defined as an unethical or illegal act which causes loss or harm to our company, our employees, or our customers.  Business abuse prevention is important to each of us as the continued success of our company depends on it.

Examples of business abuse include, but are not limited to:

  • Abuse of time cards or meal period
  • Drug or alcohol abuse
  • Giving free food or discounts to friends
  • Filing false work-related injury claims
  • Theft of cash / property / food
  • Creating or ignoring safety hazards

BurgerBusters Inc. will foster an environment that does not tolerate business abuse. Prevent, recognize, and report any  business abuse situations to your General Manager immediately. If there is no response from your manager, or if you are not comfortable reporting the situation to your General Manager for any reason continue up the accountability ladder to District Manager, Vice President, or Joe Mangano.
